System Requirements

You will need:

• Latest version: Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Windows 11 or later.
• Legacy version 1.3: Windows XP.
• Users must have a GEOPoint/LEOPoint registration code.
• 30MB free hard disk space for the program.
• Screen resolution set to at least 1024x768.
• User supplied GIS map data files containing accurate models of terrain Contours and other horizon Obstructions close to the site of interest.
• Optional user supplied NASA SRTM files in HGT format covering the region of interest on a 3-second map grid.  The NASA SRTM files are not provided with HorizonProfile, but can be freely obtained online here. 
• Optional user supplied ACMA AusDEM altitude database on 9-minute map grid in Australia. The ACMA AusDEM database is not provided with HorizonProfile, but could be procured separately from the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA).

Downloads

HorizonProfile is intended for registered users of GEOPoint and LEOPoint.  There are no free features on this program.  Users must have a GEOPoint/LEOPoint registration code.

Because of the requirement to access a legacy 32-bit DLL to use the ACMA AusDEM digital elevation model, HorizonProfile is only available in a 32-bit version.
