Release Date: March 2015.
The following main features were added or changed in version 2.1:
Lite features (free)
- The window title bar now states the number of carriers currently loaded.
This is useful if some are located outside the current view frequencies.
- New 'Save Preferences' and 'Load Preferences' in View menu to allow user to save and
reload View options settings, including fonts, colours, etc.
- When doing a 'Load Carriers' from file, the user is now asked whether to overwrite existing carrier data,
or append the new carriers with the existing ones.
- In the View Options window, moved view frequency settings and frequency labelling options to a new tab,
and added new options including: selecting the number of decimal places to display, choice of frequency units,
and options to suppress the frequency axis labels completely.
- In the View Options window, Title tab, added options to draw a frame or grid in the display area,
and an option to suppress carrier labels.
- Save Image dialog now suggests an image file name based on the loaded carrier file name.
- Carrier text file format now allows 'FEC' and 'RS' parameters to be entered as two numbers separated by '/'.
For example '3/4' or '219/201'.
Pro features (registered)
- Save Intermod Report dialog now suggests a report file name based on the currently loaded carrier file name.
- Carrier entry and modification dialogs now show a blank edit box for Power Level if there is no level data in the
Carrier file, instead of default value '-999'. User may also leave the power level field blank on these dialogs
when adding or modifying a carrier.
- In the View Options window, added a new Levels option tab. User may now opt to display and label a vertical
'Power Levels' axis on the left hand side of the display, or to 'Ignore' any level information and draw all
carriers at the same height. Used along with the 'Show Grid' option, a spectrum analyser like display can now be achieved.
- In the View Options Levels tab, now allows the user to define a level scale using an upper reference level and
a dB/division scale.
- New 'Default Colours' and 'Default Level Scale' items in View menu to allow the user to switch back to the
default settings.
- In the View Options Colours tab, added an extra button so 'Axis/Grid' and 'Axis Labels' can be set to different colours.
- On the carrier selection dialog, displayed when user selects 'Modify' or 'Delete', the User may now click on the
column headings to re-sort the carrier list based on frequency, power level, or alphabetic name order.
