New Features
Lite Features (Free)
- A new tab to do Rhumb Line calculations.
- New Major Cities Tool to let user select points from built-in list of Major Cities.
- Improved transparent coverage shading option, now default.
- Right-click on coverage map now sets coverage edge.
- Option to draw latitude/longitude grid lines on map.
- User can now enter decimals into degrees box and program will calculate and overwrite minutes and seconds.
Pro Features (requires Registration)
- World Magnetic Model updated to latest WMM2010.
- Magnetic azimuths now displayed on calculation tabs and included in saved reports.
- New Mercator Projection and Globe View options. (requires DirectX)
- New Tool to allow user to select points from a user supplied text file list.
- In Batch Mode, can zoom (left-click) and unzoom (right-click).
- Can open another batch file without closing batch mode.
- Option to load an alternate map image in Batch Mode.
- Batch Mode will now query whether to treat a plain input file as a series of waypoints, or as a star (hub & spokes).
- User can now specify new Star 'S' command in the input file format.
- Improved look and layout of HTML report files.
- Spherical Earth/WGS84 Ellipsoid options now also available in Batch Mode.
Bug Fixes & Other Refinements
- Fix to Vincenty algorithms to ensure they complete, and don't lock up.
- Fixed bug on main window map zoom which made map creep.
- Hitting Enter key in a text box now forces a calc, instead of just beeping.
- Fixed some memory leaks.
- Coverage options now greyed out when not on coverage page.
- Magnetic Azimuth tool not available on Coverage page.
- Fixed title on Save Results file selection dialog box.
- Closing Batch Mode Window now ends the program.
- Azimuths now shown only to 1 decimal place.
